Have you ever imagined life from a caterpillar’s perspective? Emma will provide insight into the perilous journey moths undertake during their wandering and pupation stages and explain how “Soft landing” refuges can help mend the urban biodiversity crisis.
Emma recently completed her master’s degree in Entomology at the University of Delaware. Her work aims to dissolve anthropogenic boundaries by reviving the use of native plants as habitat and resources for human and non-human species.
Also at this meeting: Presentation of the Calvert Awards to students displaying unusual accomplishment and interest in insect-related study.
