The American Entomological Society once again joins the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University for its annual Bug Fest.

AES will staff a table where Bug Fest attendees can learn about our Society & sign up for Bug Walks to the beautiful Logan Square Garden (across the street from the Academy). This year the Society created a Field Guide where participants can record their observations as they explore the Logan Square Garden.
Insect displays, literature & the Society’s vintage nineteenth-century
seal embosser will be on hand to imprint the AES logo on Bug Fest keepsakes. The Academy will screen at 3:15 on Sunday in its auditorium the 2009 film Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo a documentary on the cultural and historical ties underlying Japan’s deep fascination with insects. An insect- themed fun packed weekend is in store for all!
